We bought this toy for our daughter’s first birthday, and she has played with it a lot since then. She is now 2 years old and she loves it still… It has definitely helped her in her motor skills and imagination, great toy! very durable, easy to clean (place them in a pillow case close it with a hair band and wash them in the washing machine, they come out super clean). Great toy, one of the favourites of our little girl.

I first bought this as a gift for my 2-year old nephew, and he immediately began making towers as tall as himself. I’ve since given it as a gift to a few other people whose children have always loved it. Most recently I bought Mega Bloks for my 9 month-old little boy who waits patiently whilst I build simple structures and then knocks them down with squeals of delight! Easy for little hands to get to grips with, great for early understanding of structure, helps with colour recognition and numeracy, endlessly adaptable for use with all sorts of games, and easy to clean- what more could you want?!

We got this as a Christmas present for our son, and were suprised just how flimsy and badly made it was. The manufacturers aim this at children from 3 upwards, but even moving the thing carefully will result in various parts of it falling off. I urge you not to buy this, as you will be sorely disappointed! Hey I’m writing this review on Christmas day I am so annoyed, so give it a wide berth!!

Bought for my daughter is interested in science and smelly toiletries. The kit itself comes with a reasonable set of instructions and is nicely laid out but the main bath bomb mould is of very poor quality and even with adult help we found it very difficult to create fully formed fizzy bombs. We went back to DIY making our own creations and volcanoes from housheold ingredients and they have ultimately proved much more fun.

It's not bad, although adult help required on all experiments. The lava volcano was quite impressive and does make quite a mess. Lots of newspaper/kitchen towels required. My 9 year old son got this for a present for christmas. It’s not bad, although adult help required on all experiments. The lava volcano was quite impressive and does make quite a mess. Lots of newspaper/kitchen towels required. For the price a great gift for children. I would consider buying something similar in the future.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is very arty and loves making things. She thought it was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed making the bath bombs. I had to supervise at the beginning but she was more than capable to measure out and make them independently. We didnt try out any other experiments so cannot comment about them.
Would recommend to anyone whose child are very much into making things and a mess!! I will be purchasing another one very soon.
(P.S keep an eye on your perfume ladies as it makes great smelling bath bombs!)

My little one absolutely loves this game and surprised us at how well she does her number sequencing and maths skills and found it easy to understand. She is not yet 4 but the instructions were so clear as they were read to her she knew what she had to do without mummy or daddy helping to show her. She only has 3 games for her LeapPad and this was the one we thought would be least enjoyed as the other 2 are girly but that is not the case. She tells us what she has learnt about the rare animals and how to do her numbers. She personally prefers the training aspects of the game and as that is where most of the maths and sequencing skills are then we are more than happy with that.
